Morpheus is a retired 3rd generation male and is the grandson to our first sire Chaos. He is large with heavy bones and an old-style large blocky head. Morpheus has produced 18 litters throughout his breeding years, and is considered the heart and soul of this breeding program. Morpheus is a one of a kind dog who is truly amazing in all his ways. He is an all-encompassing German Shepherd, displaying incredible power which has morphed into his very high drive. Morpheus has the unique ability to assess a situation and act appropriately to it, making him my most versatile male. He has remarkable nerves and is extremely sound. He is the type of dog that would work all day for his handler in any weather and under any conditions. He is very clear headed when working and would take anything that is thrown at him. This makes him a fully capable and talented protection dog, showing great speed, focus, drive, and power. Off the field, Morpheus has always shown a perfect off-switch at home, enabling him to be very calm and relaxed indoors. He is amazing with all people, children, and other animals. Morpheus has produced sound puppies throughout the years, creating a versatile set of canines who have gone on to excel in protection work, as well as several other areas such as family companions. Thus, all his puppies have proven to possess many of his superior traits, which has made it a lovely and enjoyable experience to witness everything that he has produced in his puppies over the years. I’m very lucky and fortunate to have this exceptional male represent, perhaps one might say the epitome, of a powerful and strong working dog. Morpheus is the very reason we all want or own a German Shepherd today. Even presently, throughout his retired years, just over 13 years old, he continues to demonstrate courage, strength, complete loyalty, and most importantly, promise to my family. I feel honored to have grown with him over the years as a team, and possess true pride in having him as my family protector. Therefore, Morpheus can never be replaced or forgotten, ensuring that his legacy will live on for future generations to come.
